We are joining the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council for their 15th Annual Driver's License Reinstatement Expo. If you or someone you know are seeking to restore their driving privileges, register for this event. Legal advocates and service providers will be at the expo to support individuals in reinstating their driver’s license!

Join us for the Championship Game of our Defenders of the Court Basketball Tournament. The winners from our basketball tournaments in Austin and Roseland will face off for the championship. Attending the championship game is free.

Credit for Change is a statewide campaign to restore meaningful sentencing credit for good behavior and participation in rehabilitative programming for people serving terms of years in Illinois prisons. The Community Forum will bring together stakeholders for a conversation about Credit for Change and what this reform could mean for Illinois.

Our legal team will guide you through the expungement and sealing process, including checking eligibility for record clearing, assisting with completing necessary forms, providing step-by-step expertise on the legal process, and sharing additional legal resources. Clearing your record can open doors to jobs, housing, and other essential opportunities.

Stop by the Mental Health Summit! We'll be joining the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County along with other partners for insightful discussions on mental health awareness and well-being. We'll be sharing resources. Some topics that will be covered are: Emergency Hospital Orders, Mental Health Services, Crisis Intervention, Mental Health Treatment Court, and more.

Defenders from our office will be joining Strides for Peace for their 1st Annual National Gun Violence Prevention Expo. This event will bring together resource providers, civic partners, public officials, community organizations and those for whom violence prevention is a top priority and creating a national network.
