June 11th Court Closures Due to Power Outage

Due to power outages, the Markham Courthouse and Branch 35 & 38 (Pullman - 111th St.) are closed Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Cases scheduled to be heard June 11 at the Markham Courthouse, will be heard as follows: 

  1. Cases scheduled to All criminal cases scheduled for initial appearance and Electronic Monitoring (EM) violations of conditions of release shall be heard at the Fifth Municipal District Bridgeview Courthouse located at 10220 S 76th Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455;
  2. Felony preliminary hearings shall be continued to June 18, 2026;
  3. All other felony cases shall be continued to June 25, 2026;
  4. All traffic and misdemeanor cases shall be continued to July 22, 2026;
  5. Initial appearances in domestic violence cases shall be heard at the Fifth Municipal District Bridgeview Courthouse located at 10220 S 76th Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455;
  6. New petitions for emergency civil protective orders shall be heard at the Fifth Municipal District Bridgeview Courthouse located at 10220 S 76th Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455;
  7. Civil Orders of Protection return cases shall be continued to July 2, 2026;
  8. All other domestic violence cases shall be continued to July I0, 2026; and
  9. Civil continuances will be given by court order per the judge presiding in the case.be heard June 11 at the Markham Courthouse, will be heard as follows: 

Cases scheduled to be heard at Branch 35 & 38, will be continued as follows:

  1. Felony preliminary hearings shall be continued to June 18, 2026;
  2. All other cases shall be continued to June 25, 2026.
