The Traffic Unit (part of the First Municipal Division) is responsible for representing clients who are not currently in custody but charged with misdemeanor traffic offenses that carry the risk of jail time. These range from driving without a license to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) and charges arising out of accidents causing personal injury.
