Every year our office celebrates communities and young people at multiple parades, festivals and events. One highlight is Chicago’s annual Bud Billiken parade, historically the second largest parade in the United States and an event that unites African-Americans from throughout the city. Each year, our volunteers and float aim to show our support for young people and to educate everyone about their rights and the role of public defenders.
